Posted earlier about ebay's dishonesty and deceipt regarding the alleged pros of new Simple Delivery.
Forgot to mention that I frequently have buyers buying two or more items. I offer free postage so this has previously been a way of adding a small amount to my very meagre profits.
I cannot see any way of combining parcels with the new system.
And even if there were, the parcels would then be in the 2kg Small Parcel bracket, which for some extraordinary reason, Ebay have seen fit to make considerably more expensive.
I have just checked the Royal Mail site (yet again) for their new prices. THE PRICE FOR SMALL PARCEL TRACKED 48 IS £3.45 - UP TO 2KG!!!! What on earth gives Ebay the right to put a surcharge on this?
Worse still, the Royal Mail site specifically cites prices "for online marketplace sellers". In the January 2025 version, it specifically mentions Ebay - although this seems to have disappeared on their latest price increase page......
By the way.... does anyone know if the head honcho at Evri is also on the Board of Directors at Ebay?
