i came on this forum for some sensible advice

 

 

And you received some.

 

Buyers are not forced to read descriptions nor are they held by any clauses you may put on your listings.

 

They are 100% backed by the ebay MBG - as a seller it is highly unlikely you can change that regardless of what evidence you think you have from the buyer via email etc.

 

That is why the advice you have been given is to not list items the way you did that one - it is simply asking for trouble and heeding the warnings will steer you clear of it and hopefully keep your account a bit safer.

 

At the end of the day though the items are yours and you can list them how you like - until you can't anymore of course.
