Buyer account since 2021 no feedback

Joi Hi bit of advice I just sold a Mulberry bag the buyer has zero feedback since 2021 and has purchased the eBay authentication service so will go to the warehouse first which I am fine with. The buyer has a business name with C/O then a name there is no address for the buyer as it’s going to the warehouse. I am bit scared could be a scam shall I cancel.

Its going via authentication who get the item first, they confirm its everything you claimed it to be then they send it to the buyer. You just need to get it to the authentication centre and not to have said its anything it is not. 

I'm not sure where you have seen a possible scam or why you should be scared. If you cancel because they havent purchased for 4 years they ca rightly leave you negative feedback. If they open a return it has to go back via authentication and still have the authentication tag on it which confirms its the same bag they sent. Whilst nothing is scam proof the authentication system is probably the most secure you can ever be when selling on any website.

This happens all the time with Ebay, some buyers just use ebay for very specific items, only every now and again. On the opposite end, some buyers register the same day of their first purchase, which is also worrying, but we all start somewhere, lol. The fact it is going to the authentication service, is an extra safeguard in your case.
