Below Standard Seller level?

Hi,

I've been away from Ebay for many years as a Business Seller, with a feedback rating of 10,580

On return, i see my account seller level has been reduced to "below standard". I guess years of no trading might have set me back to a basic level account. I want to know what limitations are set with this level? Are there limitations on how many items I can sell? or anything similar which I should be aware of?

I was away for 2 years a few years back and it changed nothing they said glad to have you back, but i don't know now everyone is totally confused about everything right now. It's a pity if they have done that to you though hope you can sort it. Try to speak or chat to a real person if you can get past the bot

If you put 'seller standards policy' into the help search box it should tell you all you need to know.

Below Standard Seller level?

Hi misswag_official, thanks for your post.

Normally, an account wouldn't be downgraded to below standard just for stopping your selling activities. Probably, you had pending case that were not resolved when you stopped using your account which impacted your account.

If you click here, you can see your defects and seller level, and if you click here you can see how to improve your seller level.

Thank you,

Marco

Don`t be on a life support machine in hospital for 3 months unable to know anything on this site or YES, you WILL be classed at the bottom of the selling pile, have only 200 items per month and NO COMPASSION whatsoever from eBay. This site stinks when anyone is ill and unable to access it.

Yes. Little is made of this, but as far as I can see every regular seller, private or business, should at the very least have someone who can log in and cancel all your listings, as soon as they know you've been hospitalised. So obviously they need to be someone who will quickly know you've been hospitalised. Family, close friend.

Note it is not enough to just give your login details to someone you trust, unless they can log in from the computer you normally log in with; if they log in from their own computer the first thing that will happen is an authentication number will be texted to your phone or sent to your email address which is likely no help at all!

There is a way to add another ebayer as an authorised user on your account so you need someone who already has an ebay account.

Below Standard Seller level?

Hi Marco,

I checked the first link and no details were provided in reference to defects and seller level details other than a note "Your seller standards dashboard is not available at this time because your account has been restricted"

There were no pending or unresolved cases on account.

I would appreciate if you could get me in touch with the relevant Ebay support team to discuss the account. Preferably a contact number or if not available via phone contact, a direct link to the relevant party.

Appreciated!
