I've had the same bank account since joining ebay 18 years ago. Still, as requested, I entered my bank account details back in February and I'm still waiting for it to be verified. In the meantime, I can't access my money.
Last week, I had an exchange with an ebay agent who told me it would be sorted in 24-48 hours - it wasn't.
Phone call two days ago - told that funds would be available today. They're not. I still have the notice that my account is being verified.
Phone call today - told it will take up to a week and there's nothing I can do!
Why the mixed messages? Any advice? It's so frustrating.

When I have to contact eBay's Customer Services I contact them in the morning, so I get through to Dublin who have helped me every time.

Thanks for the reply, but I have contacted in the morning (just after 8am) on three occasions and definitely not spoken to anyone in Dublin. What's the best time?

I've just checked for you there, and it looks like you've just updated your payment details. It can take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect. If after this, you still have issues verifying your bank account, please let me know and I'll take a further look for you.

I finally got through to a helpful agent and she advised me to update my bank details again.
