Thanks to customers opening cases against us instead of contacting us first for their problems (last one being August 2023), our main selling account dropped to under the 'Top Rated eBay Seller' status.
We're no longer able to use promoted listings on our products & our last 'organic' sale was December 28th 2025 (it's been a month of us not selling anything). I'm not sure how we're supposed to work our way back up when we can't even get sales in the first place??
Would us converting our business account to a paid 'basic' shop protect us against any problems? and would it also enable us to do promoted listings again or is top rated seller a requirement?
We deal in furniture and it's literally impossible to organically sell on the platform now without some form of promoted ads.
