Creating a new discount for shop

Hello, 

I started my Ebay shop in November, and I am very pleased on how it is going. I upgraded to a shop the other day, the main reason is I have around 200 items and loved the fact I could use categories to make shopping easier for my customers. 

I completed all the steps for my store, and wanted to create a discount for my shop, like 15% off £50 spend or something like that.

when I go onto marketing and discounts there is no button to create new discount, is this a bug with Ebay at the moment? or do I have to of been a shop for a number of days to get this option?

That's because you have incorrectly registered as a private seller.

The feature you want is only available to businesses.

Then in a few days 4th of feb a buyer fee will be added to all your listings not added to businesses.

Ebay allow 30 day to return so that policy will have to be changed. That is 30 days after the last expected delivery date not the day you sell it.

Just use the correct account type and you can do the discounts you want

No - its the fact you are selling as a Private Seller when you should be a Business Seller.

Given you have ltd in your name, I assume you are a business.

Businesses can generate coupons.

No shop is not necessarily a business on ebay

Often leads to confusion.

Update your return policy too eBay, will override it anyway if you do get a return the the 29th day.

May as well make it line up with eBay's policy

Be aware that there will now be fees to be paid on sales. Only Private Sellers have fee free basic sales.
