What action after cancelling Royal Mail Postage Label

I chose the wrong postage label for an item. Post office did not accept it so I paid the postage personally to the post office for a tracked delivery and got a certificate of posting.

When I came back home I cancelled the original label on Ebay's site. 

Now the question is, do I need to take any action?

ie. letting Ebay know, letting the customer know?

If you cancelled to label, the refund can take between 5 - 21 days to process.

Check the tracking number is the correct one now where you marked the item as dispatched, if not and you cannot manually correct it then contact eBay Customer Services who will adjust to the correct tracking.  This is important as it's only when showing delivery your payout is released 2 days later.  If there's no tracking a payout is held for 14 days.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
