Sorry yet another post about Simply Delivery , I sold a item late last night . I tried this morning to print a label and it came up with a error message saying "unable to print label due to incorrect postal code" . I contacted customer service and was told there was a method off correcting the error but was advised not use it as I would not be covered by Ebay . So i asked how come we where able to edit a address via the system a few days ago after it had been checked by a automatic method, but the advice was not to do it now . She then went on to say how the postage system was so much easier to use because we do not have to choose the weight and company . I then said sellers now have to decide if the parcel fell into the 1kg or 2kg parcel size when in the old system they where both the same . I then explained how my Evri drop off for me was a round trip off 15 miles when my local shop five minutes away took 5 different courier company parcels but I was now able to use them because they did not except Evri . I also explained how private sellers was no longer able to add a small amount to cover the packing materials . I then asked her how come a 2kg parcel is now 40p more than a 1kg parcel providing it was in a certain size box yet in the old method they where the same price . And why a 1kg parcel is still 40p more than me buying over the post office counter . She went on to say she would pass my feedback onto the back office . So I have had to email the buyer to ask if he could check his post code and if it was not correct to contact ebay and ask them if they could sort it . I have also been told should this problem be a Ebay problem to contact them and they would try and sort it . I am not sure how this will resolved if the buyer does not pick up my message . Which means my 3 day dispatch clock is ticking through no fault off mine .
