I got a customer who bought an item today, but they live in Germany so they would also pay more in shipping through the ebay GSP. However, they want to buy another item from me but they are still being charged another fee despite me not sending the first item yet, is there a way to combine this so they only pay the cost of the item?

Haven't done GSP for a while but it never used to be possible as each item needed its own code for tracking purposes going through the GSP hub

Ah that's a shame if that's the case, I was hoping to just post the two items together without bim being charged again for shipping fees that I can't remove. 😞

Hi mystictrades, thanks for your post.
Just to confirm, jonat_broad above is correct, GSP orders cannot be combined, I'm afraid.
Thank you,
Marco

One way around it is to create a new listing for both items. Its one of the issues I've found when using GSP and eBay authentication that buyers can not combine, eBay know its an issue but it'll be low down on the list of things to fix. You will have to refund the initial item that way though so if its already sent thats risky.

I have combined two items on the same package. All i did was put both A numbers on the front of the parcel. Mine arrived at the GSP on the same package. And were sent on their way out of the country to Germany.

That is possible but the buyer will still be charged the full amount, so doesn't really help the OP in this instance.
The only way the OP can prevent the buyer being charged 2 lots of postage would be to cancel the item already purchased and then either combine both items onto one listing (which is the easiest option) or get the buyer to purchase both together by placing them into their basket first and then requesting a combined invoice (only combines the international postage though so the OP would then need to do as you have suggested and issue a partial refund to cover the overcharge on the domestic postage).
