Why is this now being forced upon us, previously when I would sell I pick a suitable courier that I know allocates time slots and adequate insurance coverage for the item sold.
Surely changing this to (as fas as I can tell) just RM & Evri is limiting the market and locking us into possibly higher priced shipping than we are able to get elsewhere.
My experiences with evri are terrible, from missed collections to failed deliveries, shipments going missing entirely and a terrible customer support experience, so much so that I would NEVER use them to ship a parcel even if they offer cheaper pricing.
How is ebay going to resolve missing parcels? If I ship an item and I am forced into using them I would expect I do not need to lift a finger and ebay will credit me both the shipping and item sold price in record time?
This, buyer protection fees along with removal of cash on collection really are the final straw. This marketplace used to allow a good set of functions and feaures which are slowly all taken away, replaced with money grabbing nonsense.
