Hello fellow battered and bruised private ebay sellers. I'm sure I am getting to be a nuisance to eBay staff as I currently have three escalations to eBay specialist services over the nightmare that is called Simple Delivery. I had questions that could not be answered it seems. The latest one is business turnaround. I tried to do a new (pretend) listing last night to get an idea of how it works, and noticed that when choosing your turnaround options for getting your parcels out the maximum is now 3 days. That was the subject of today's call. The staff member told me from his information online that it could be extended to 40 days. I asked how, if there was only same day, 1,2 or 3 day options, so clearly Simple Delivery in its current format is not tailored to private sellers. He tried to do a listing himself and .... oh yeah...... I see what you mean. Oops. They've done it again. Escalation number 3. It seems that this is another kick in the the teeth for private sellers who work 9 - 5 Monday to Friday and are not running a business and can't always meet a three day deadline. However, let's be positive and hope that rather than another way of pushing us out, it is a simple (God I hate that word!) failure of the boardroom suits to communicate properly with their software developers. However, I do know that this is getting beyond a joke and we little guys have to push back. Take your listings elsewhere, end your listings before the 7th April (they stay on the system for 90 days) or temporarily shut up shop using the Time Away option until they sort this s£%t s£*w out. Now where did I put that bottle of gin?.......................

Exactly. People need to fight back against these greedy faceless corporations. What annoys me more than anything is the way they dress it up as though they are doing it for OUR benefit. They think we are stupid.
