You can't. The buyer has paid for the postage as you listed it.
You will just need to cover the shortfall yourself.

I am not seeking them to pay any more, I know I have to cover it, but the post office will not just add the cost on, they said I need a new label, which means I will have to pay of the postage again plus the additional.
Any help?

Was the label bought from ebay? If it has not been used I think you can get it refunded.

why buy labels at home ?
If you weigh and have an error, it can be easily corrected when you go into the postage to buy the stamp / label in the Postie.

If a label hasn’t been used you can apply for a refund through the RM portal. It takes a while though.
In the old days you could just add stamps on for the next weight category…but now I think you’ll have to buy the new label. I don’t know what you’re selling but my kitchen scales go up to 5kg and were very cheap.
Guessing the weight of a parcel isn’t a good idea, I always find packaging weighs a lot more than I thought.

With you. Yeah, I had this the other day.
Go to this page where you can then cancel the label

OP -
If you bought the label from royal mail website go back there as @jma2815 says
If you bought the label via ebay then as @jonat_broad you can claim back via ebay.
Full details in link above, (apx 3/4 through article) as well as link Jonat sent to sort refund of label.
When you took it to the post office as long as it was not scanned before then being rejected as over weight You will be ok. If however the post office scanned it, then weighed it, the labels will be active and you wont be able to claim back.
2.2kg Parcel falls in to medium price remit. Depending on service used prices start at around £5 onwards.
