International postage debacle

Can anyone make sense of this??

I sold a small item that was to be sent to Brazil. When filling in the postage options I ticked the Royal Mail 3-7 days delivery service which was quoted at around £19. I subsequently checked at my local Post Office and they confirmed postage to Brazil was that amount.

I subsequently made the sale but when I went to the Buy Postage/Print Label option for the parcel the only options available to me were UPS Express at £369 and UPS Standard at £36.99 with no sign of the original Royal Mail options.

What the hell is going on. I have had no end of problems including three failed attempts to get this item listed so that the postage option showed up on the purchaser's (Brazil) web pages only for the postage option I selected to be nowhere to be found.
