Hi Guys. I would suggest every body checks their adverts and checks what the simple delivery postage has been set for you eBay. A lot of my stuff which is either large letter or small parcel appears to have been put as medium parcel at over £5 postage. This could be one of the reasons sales are very low at the moment. Just a heads up for everyone. Stay Safe out there. Ed

That's a good tip! Do you know you could decrease your postage further by using Custom Postage as a lot of your items are under £20? eBay recently increased this from £10, but your items will not be Tracked and 2nd Class gets slower and slower between now and mid-December.

Can you explain how can we do that? All my items are below 10 and I have no there option just SD,

Only certain categories are eligible for custom postage, if an item is, it will show when listing, but it is just a very small number that do.

You are able to change the price if it is wrong, when you are completing the listing, I have had to do it a few times. I have also had to increase the postage, when it has clearly been too low.

When listing now with Simples Delivery you have to check:
1. The size of the item and change it when listing it as eBay defaults to larger / more expensive postage.
2. Make sure you have your preferences ticked for Royal Mail or both.
3. Make sure your dispatch window is checked - it defaults to 2 days! Even when the original listing is set at 3 days.
4. Make sure you check the box which states Buyer Pays / Seller Pays. It changes when relisting as sell similar.
5. Only certain categories have the option of custom postage.🙄
Every day is a school day!
