I see eBay is introducing another of their little "helpful" changes - now they will be holding on to funds and not paying the money straight into our bank accounts - so they will earn interest on our money and if people forget to transfer eBay gets to keep our money for longer! Good old Ebay!!!

Since the change I've been unable to withdraw any of my balance! There is no facility to click on or whatever to withdraw.

In case this has been lost , or apologies, not even entered into this thread, this is how to withdraw any payout which is not processing, not on hold, but in the Available section of your Payment >> Summary.
Proceed this way, try this maybe on a PC / laptop and use Chrome.
Click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on the > arrow, top right you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
Your eBay balance will show at the top, cliick on withdraw bottom right.
On the pop up screen which appears, at the top, there's a large, bolder £ sign, and flashing sign beside it. There, you add the amount you wish to withdraw. At the bottom.... Send £*** Now click on this.
A notification appears... Your Money is on its Way. Click on this and then on Done.
Money is then sent to your nominated bank account and it will depend on your banks processing times, as to when you are able to withdraw the money. Some banks are faster than others.

I understand the principle but there was no need for this change. As has been pointed out by many others, it’s just a way for eBay to hold on to funds longer.

I agree for most, change is not always accepted as a good thing, or one that makes the situation better.
This is eBay's answer to is interest made on money in eBay Balance.
No, eBay does not make interest on money in an eBay balance. eBay balance is a way for sellers to use their sales proceeds to pay for items, postage labels, and selling costs on eBay. There are no fees associated with eBay balance, and sellers can withdraw their available balance to a linked bank account at any time.

Still better than they charge us 12.3% fees!

Thanks for replying. No disrespect, but you've highlighted what I already knew. After contacting Ebay and having a little message exchange, it turns out that particular page for no obvious reason is larger than many computer screens. My issue once discovered was passed to Ebay's tech people! .......................... Essentially, you click on the balance as you state and at the bottom of the screen there is 'withdraw'. On some screens this page of Ebay's page is not visible and there's nothing to drag or click to make the page move upwards so you can click on withdraw. ........................... Once highlighted, the tech problem was sorted pronto. It hasn't gone away though. since then on two occasions, one being New Year's Day a couple of days ago, I clicked then found the page 'frozen' again. A few hours later, no issue at all. A cynic might think Ebay is operating an algorithm to frustrate funds being withdrawn!
