I have seen that in a few weeks the funds from sales will sit in eBay account until they get used.

does anyone have more information on this.

I am just trying to understand how this will work and whether the money will still be able to go to my bank account.

What makes the other sites " better " ? 
If you have had an account since 2004, surely that means you are Trusted more than someone with an account on a new site from 2024 ?

 EBay are keeping my money in a bank or loaning it out and probably getting interest. On top of that they are prolonging the payout to eek even more interest out. I don't imagine any of this interest will be past on to the person loaning the cash I.e me. It's not progress it's greed. 100.00 *  1000,000s * 5% it's money from nothing.
