Received item not shown as delivered

A simple question. I posted parcels to two different buyers at the same time using the labels that Ebay encourages to use. One parcel was tracked and marked as delivered and I received payment. The other parcel was simply marked as despatched (which seems to be the update when you print the label). The buyer received the parcel - confirmed when I messaged them, but the order status is still just showing despatched.

I can only assume the postman did not do whatever they should do to update the delivery, so Ebay assumes the parcel is still out there somewhere.

This is obviously a major flaw in their new system, which worked fine before. It means Ebay are holding onto my money, and presumably monies owed to others, and have it safely in their bank account gaining interest.

How can the system be updated to override the incorrect status to show it is completed?

If the system doesn't update there's nothing you can do.    It will be treated the same way as an untracked item and so the payment will be released in 14 days.

I have a similar problem.   System is showing item despatch as overdue but I purchased postage thro Ebay and item has been received by buyer.  But I cannot update the system   Thoughts please thanks

Still Does Not Make It Right, It Needs To Be Investigated To Be More Pleasant Experience For The Sellers As Well As The Buyers. If The Sellers Have No Money To Purchase Postage Labels Then It Makes Sending Purchases Difficult And Probably Late Then Your Feedback Suffers.

From help,pages , seeing as delivery confirmation won’t be arriving you should get paid   8 days from when the order was placed

That sems to be yet another change! I haven't seen the 8 day time limit before.

I have had to wait until Ebay paid for an item that, I had to buy an additional label for, -even although buyer had paid postage-.  The buyer even confirmed receipt quickly, but that didn't make any difference, I still had to wait.  I have now had to pay postage on top of the buyer paying postage several times.  I am considering taking a break from Ebay until I have had a satisfactory reply, assurance that this won't keep happening.  I contacted customer service by email.  I received 3 quick replies, but none to say how this keeps happening apart from a temporary glitch, I didn't notice where to print the postage label??.
