My account has been suspended, with all products delivered, yet all of my funds are on hold (around £500)
I spoke to eBay, and I was told I'd have to wait '170 days or more' to receive my funds. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you get your funds eventually? And does anyone have any advice on how to tackle this situation?
Thank you in advance

We don't have access to your account or messages so cannot see why there is a hold on your payout. You have not though received a Permanent restriction as you have current items for sale.
Have you returned to selling after a bit of a break? Looks like a big gap between the last few feedbacks and you have sold some high priced items. eBay may be looking for you to add a tracking number to show their delivery, then your payouts should be released sooner.
High priced items being sold on a dormant account is a red flag to eBay, could be signs of a hacked account, so for a security measure a hold is placed on the money until that tracking shows delivery, showing the real owner has returned to sell on the account.
One more thing, have you registered for eBay's Managed Payments correctly? All sellers need to do this to receive payouts from sales.
See here:
You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified. The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive, and confirm to eBay.
Once this is completed, you will be able to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.
This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.

Have CS told you why they are holding on to your funds and why you are not getting your funds back? @candlemakersltd

What do they want for verification? @candlemakersltd
You are a registered business here on eBay, and understandably would have already gone through all the checks and balances previously, and as you say you have been paid without an issue since trading, so why now?
Have you had any previous issues with eBay on a different matter?
Sorry for the questions, just trying to make sense of it all... I remember years back when Paypal did this to many sellers ( particularly business) there are a lot of videos on YT about it from people whereby it ruined their business.
You still have items listed - I would be concerned that if you sold these your funds would be on hold too until their " verification" requests are completed.
I really do feel that this is a violation and cannot see how it can be legal to do so especially as you are registered as a business.
Perhaps there is others here ( particularly business sellers) who could shed some light on the matter?

What was the reason that they held it for a year?
The business seller here has been told they will not ever receive their funds?
I just cannot see how that is lawful?
I would be taking it further.
Edit to add.. why would your funds being released after a year be a solution? I find it preposterous for eBay even to consider holding peoples funds indefinitely particularly a business!

I would take it further and get legal advice/ representation for your funds, if you have done nothing wrong and as you are a business they are impeding your livelihood.

Why have you carried on selling if ebay are not releasing your funds?

Well I see you have some items for sale so looks like Ebay welcomed you back! Good luck. Did they pay you the money owed or not?

Hello,
Have you managed to receive your funds as of yet. I have recently just been dealt with a permanent suspension on baseless grounds and am also looking to see when i will receive my £7,000 pounds...

Hi yes i got them and i know exactly how it works. Ebay customer service wont tell you this but this is the truth. They only released funds for bann seller 4x a year. This is always the first tuesday of Jan, Apr, July and Oct. But you have to wait for 2 months before they can be released. So for you to receive your funds on the 1st tuesday of july, you would've had to got the suspension before the 31st April, which im guessing you didnt. So you will receive it all at one go on the first tuesday of october unfortunately. I got bann 6th Jan and received the money on Apr 1st. It will happen automatically and you will get an email a few days before saying something like you will be getting your funds. Then on the day you will get the normal payout email once it lands in your bank account. You will 100% get your money, dont worry. I had ebay customer service agents saying to me i will never get it, but they lie. Between my 3 accounts, I had £10500 and i got every penny eventually. Hope this helps
