EBAY WILL NOT ACCEPT MY BANK ACCOUNT

When Ebay did the 'pay 1 pence' thing (I use Ebay.co.uk) my account was in overdraft at the time, so I could NOT pay the 1 pence back

Now cos of that 'We're having trouble confirming your bank details' is always at the top of my page, and every time I DO try to verify my bank account, even when logging in, it never accepts it!!

I LITERALLY DID IT AGAIN, I FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WHAT DO I GET?

'We couldn't verify this bank account. Please select a different payment method.'

why!!! I am LOGGING IN WITH MY BANK ACCOUNT, I AM GIVING MY DETAILS!!

Have you made sure your name and address are EXACTLY the same on your Ebay account and bank account. It can be very fussy.

Ebay are fussy about which bank you use.

They typically want big high street banks.

The smaller banks are rejected.

I’m having the same problem and it’s getting very annoying please can someone at eBay explain what’s going on please or someone tell me how to do it

It would help if you said which bank you are trying to use as eBay rejects some online only banks

Do you have any other eBay accounts? I had a problem linking my personal and business account to the same bank, which Customer Service sorted out for me. It's best to reach out to them for assistance.
