Thinking about the darts reminds me of a brilliant story about going to the SECC in Glasgow for the darts. Me and my pals had been having a few drinks in Glasgow Central railway station and were pretty well on the way to being half-cut when we boarded the train to go to the SECC. The train was absolutely packed with people going to the darts and you can imagine pretty much everyone had been drinking heavily. Well there was this guy sitting with his wife on one of the seats oblivious that the darts were on and tbh really looked well out of place on a train full of boozed-up Scots. Well this guy was a dead-ringer of the darts player Co Stompe from Holland. Well this was noticed very quickly and before you knew it the whole carriage was drunkingly singing and pointing to this guy "THERE'S ONLY ONE CO STOMPE, ONE CO STOMPE, THERE'S ONLY ONE CO STOMPE". The funniest thing about it was that he had absolutely no clue what was been sung at him lol. Fair play to him he took it really well but must have been extremely intimidated. Pity the night ended with Adrian Lewis having coins and pints of lager chucked at him but what an atmosphere!
