why does ebay not pick up our live location but instead it picks us up 2 or 300 miles away does anyone else have this problem?

Location is where this ISP is.

As long as you happy it was you logged in at the time, just ignore it.

Do you mean when you log in,  sometimes  your location is showing somewhere hundreds of miles away?

Many receive this odd and at first worrying notification, that you are logging in from  an area which is clearly not yours.

I've received this in the past. telling me log in is being made from Birmingham, and I live on the South Coast.

As long as the time you are logging in is correct,  then all is well,  no need to change passwords,  no need to do anything else.
