we posted an item purchased through ebay dpd tried to deliver twice customer was not home

item is now being returned to us by dpd customer is not happy as we have already refunded what should we do

If you've already refunded their money you can relist for them to buy again - if you're still willing to sell to them.   If not just put their ID on your blocked bidder list:
