If it's listed in the motors category, which it would be, you will pay the motors listing fee. You might consider using an ebay classified. It usually works out cheaper at £19.99 flat fee and eliminates timewasters because you don't end it until the deal is done. More info here:

eBay site, eBay rules and if you wat to argue 'legal' you need to do that with eBay.

This was not at all helpful so I am perplexed as to how it became deemed to be an accepted solution! It was not accepted by me and still isn't. Indeed, I found it unhelpful, and incorrect as I do NOT 'wat (sic), to argue legal' I was merely asking a very simple question to which the answer should be either, "Yes, you have to pay final value fees" or "No ,you don't" Judgmental comments are never useful especially if they shift the blame to eBay or the one who is asking the question. Plus, the reply to **peaseblossom** was never any of your business either so you should keep your nose out of other's conversations.

Spoke to a lovely chap at eBay regarding a simple yes or no answer to my question and he was incredibly helpful so no more responses need here on this issue, none of which were remotely helpful or even useful, especially plpmr. I probably won't bother to ask questions here again and will just go straight to the horse's mouth, so to speak, in the future

The advice from eBay CS may not be correct. What category did he tell you to list your caravan in? Unless it is in the same category as everyone else has to use, which is Motors, then eBay may sanction you for fee avoidance.

Correct category is motors - caravans.
Or as advised, classified ad is better.
