return from a buyer - seller fees

hi

I have sold a unit, navigation module, which the buyer claims it is faulty. i sold it in good faith as a fully working module, and was working fine when removed from vehicle. I have asked the buyer to return it for a full refund and have given the buyer the benefit of the doubt and will provide a full refund, however as the unit was sold, I have been liable for seller fees. Do these get waived, as it's not confirmed at this stage that the unit was faulty, and may be user error.

I'd be dissapointed to get an item returned and still have to pay the fees

any ideas?

regards

Ash
