repeated sign in verification

Hello, This last few days, each time I sign in, I have to verify it's me by receiving an email code and submitting it before it will log me in. This is despite me using a "trusted device" and being the sole user of the account.

Also, the message says once verified I will not need to repeat this action...but I do.

 I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this annoying issue.

Are you using a mobile device and the ebay app,if yes change to a browser on the ebay site as the app has issues.

Do you use public Wi-fi network, these can cause constant sign ins

Is your browser upto date,have you tried a different browser like edge or chrome.

Make sure your browser accepts cookies as the ebay site likes that option 😁

Hello, Thank you for your reply. I am using an up to date browser on my laptop and a private wifi setting.
This has only just started and now it sends me texts to log in.!
After many years of happy Ebaying as a Buyer, I am very fed up with all the glitches and am beginning to look elsewhere, as I suspect are many others.

Make sure you have the latest updates/software downloaded on your device.

Hello and thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it is still happening . My laptop is back from a computer Technician who has updated all software and programmes but I still had to accept a text message before signing in . It does not seem to accept my "trusted Device". even though it is the one & only device I ever use.

Very frustrating as I dont always have the phone nearby to answer the text.
