multiple by same seller

When purchasing multiple items from the same seller, how can you prevent eBay from adding the shipping costs for each item?

Contact the seller for suggestions and to make sure they are prepared (and able) to combine postage for you.

Simple postage makes it difficult for sellers to combine.

If they send two items in one package, they can refund excess postage, but lose protection as they only have one tracking number but two items.

It is up to seller to decide how he can help, but usual suggestion is cancel both sales and relist as one item and you buy again.

This is not ideal, but unless buyer and seller make arrangements before purchase this is the safest way for buyer and seller.

No, eBay did not respond at all! On any other retail website, you can contact them. It's outrageous that you can't do that on eBay!!!!!!!
eBay only refunded me £15 of the £28 promised by the seller and only refunded me £5 in VAT, even though it was a purchase for France!!!
