I have sold, been paid for and delivered a clock. I have just received a message from another person who
thought he had bought the clock. How do I contact an eBay agent to sort this out ? The automated assistant just keeps sending me round a loop which does not address the issue.

You sold it once the 29th August.
You also sold what looks like the same item on the 26th June.
Did the buyer pay in June or is that the one you actually sold the item too?

Unless you have received two payments [you had the same watch listed twice] then there's nothing to sort out.

The one in June was another clock, the same. That was all ok. This one seemingly has two buyers but I have only been paid once; I do not know who paid. As it happens I have another clock the same but need confirmation from eBay about which buyer paid ( I assume it was the one for which the address label printed out )

Have spoken to eBay agent - resolved - second buyer somehow slipped under the radar and hadn't paid.
Fortunately I have another clock the same so he can buy that. Thanks for advice.

Did ebay explain how you had two buyers in the first place? That should have been impossible.

I agree but they were as perplexed as me. Fortunately I have another clock which I have offered to list for the 'other' buyer :-).
