I'm getting messages every time I log in saying 'new device has accessed your account, change your password' and giving an address hundreds of miles away.  I change my password and it happens again instantly every time, with the same wrong address.

I'm not sure exactly the message you are receiving but if it is one like I describe below,  then it's a common message many receive.

Many receive this odd and at first worrying notification, that you are logging in from  an area which is clearly not yours.

I've received this in the past. telling me log in is being made from Birmingham, and I live on the South Coast.

As long as the time you are logging in is correct,  then all is well,  no need to change passwords,  no need to do anything else.
