eBay not converting items from USD to GBP

Hi- So I have created a listing via Printful who's integration is connected to the US marketplace (ebay.com), and uses the US dollar. This means that if I'm using GBP in my store  eBay should automatically convert USD to GBP or the price in the currency they’re shopping in. However this isn't happening and my listings are being shown in USD and available from the US.  I have opened an eBay account via the UK site and cannot find an option to change this?

Thanks

Are you and your items physically located in the UK?

If you are it seems the issue is with Printful not ebay.

As you are selling items made to order you need to look at eBay’s policy on when you need a business account.

Potential buyers in the UK do see the price in GBP - it's showing the hoody as costing £33 with free postage to the UK from the USA.

Your listing shows a 5 day dispatch time.  Is that realistic with a 'made to order' garment?

eBay not converting items from USD to GBP

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, that is the issue as i'm based in the UK and not the US. 5 days dispatch time is the recommended dispatch time suggested by Printful.

Hi, yes both the items and I are located in the UK.

Printfuls intergration is with US only so it makes sense that it shows on eBay.com and not UK.

I'll speak with eBay and see what they say.

Thanks for your reply

I don't understand why you don't ditch 'Printful' and create your own listings.

I believe it is unlikely Ebay will offer you a solution and you will probably need to create a new account with your UK details.

As advised, you need a business account to sell items on here which you are making to sell.
