eBay discount not applied, cannot contact anyone

eBay offered a £10 voucher if I used the eBay app.

Installed it, the auction I was looking at via the app got a pop up saying £10 discount applies on this item 2hr 50 left.

Won the auction about 30 min later, went to pay no dicount applied, tried to find a discount code no luck.

Cannot get past the AI help, ask for a human and get told that support is unavailable and the times which says they are about.

The get us to call you is just text no link or script.

Any ideas ?

You can contact eBay Customer Services,  but I don't think they'll be able to help you further.  They will not be able to reinstate a discount voucher, but explain what happened,  perhaps they can explain why it wasn't applied.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
