ebay - I just bought £40 worth of multitool blades and a pair of cable snips.  Wanted to buy from you but you only verify age with Credit Cards.  I only use debit cards, which, although only issued to adults are for some reason not good enough.

You lost business for an idiotic reason and I had to deal with a nasty monopoly, your sellers suffered lost sales.

You want to re-think this idiotic policy?

You are not speaking to eBay here,  but to members like yourself.

Anyone of any age can own a debit card,  but you have to be 18 years and older to own a credit card,  hence this is the only form of age verification eBay accepts, for certain items which law of the land states,  you have the be,  18+ to buy.

The only way round this,  is to ask a friend or family member,  who has a credit card on their eBay account,  to buy this restricted item for you.

This is a member-to-member forum. If all the buyers who post here about this policy would contact eBay instead something might actually be done about it.
