app issues like never before

I am having CONSTANT issues using the ebay app. After reporting over and over with no response i came across this page so I'm looking for support from other users. is anybody experiencing anything like what I list below?

I would really appreciate any response from anyone who reads my rants and gets me; where I'm coming from. I do try to be concise. I don't think I can possibly get across how frustrated I am with the state of the app... I really would appreciate and like to have an in-depth conversation with someone who knows what it's like from both sides.

 

"this is a really good one: how are the suggestions at the choose-a-match-for-item-specifics stage so different to the suggestions when you get to the pricing stage?! surely it's using with the same information? and to boot: the results from the former don't appear at all on the latter..."

 

"how does this [the item specifics] screen not suggest the same brand or brands for a set of figures being listed one after the other, obviously from the same series?! the whole listing process does so much but it misses so much! for no reason! it recognises that I'm listing Star Wars POTF2 figures yet only with some does it give me the option to press the Brand "Kenner" - some with both "Kenner" and "Hasbro" - and it's alternate; one with/one without; or worse, which figures will give me Kenner and which won't. despite me using precisely the same format of wording for each of my listing titles and uniform photos to boot. I'm doing everything I can to make this as streamlined as possible for myself. surely the app should do the same for your users?! No?! it's so intensely frustrating that it does things so SPORADICALLY please explain this to me!!"

 

Those in quotation marks are my two latest rants I've submitted within the app on the relevant screens using shake to Report. It states you won't get a response to these but honestly, I do it SO OFTEN I'm pulling my hair out. And I'm shocked that I have not had a response from someone... my account must flag up I do it so much..?

I don't believe that it can be explained, though you can post this on the Technical Issues board and see if anyone there can help.

 

eBay was never designed as an app site (like many of the other newer online selling sites are) so their app has limited functionality. It's great for buying and very basic selling, but I personally switch to desktop for listing items.

Thanks for taking time to respond. I will post it to the Tech Issues board as you suggest. Although I did have a call with CS today and they have logged my complaint after doing a trial run, creating a new listing on desktop with me, while on the phone. (It was no better than android app). So fingers crossed that gets up the ladder to fall on the desk of an appropriate person.
