Yodel Service Update: Monday 22nd September
We want to apologise to customers impacted by a software integration issue that is causing delays at up to 8% of our parcel lockers and shops.
The IT issue stems from part of the integration of InPost and Yodel’s networks. Whilst there are no issues for most customers, we have encountered a glitch impacting some locations that requires reworking.
Engineers are now working with our teams to fix this as quickly as possible. We expect to have overcome the problem by Wednesday at the latest. To reduce delays, we have taken the decision to pause deliveries at the impacted lockers and shops.
Obviously, we understand your disappointment, but please be assured we will resolve this. We are very sorry for this unexpected delay.

For Private sellers like yourself Simple Delivery is mandatory and Yodel has not yet been added to the postage options for sellers to use.
I would think Business sellers who sell in vast numbers and who use Yodel, would hopefully be aware of this Yodel glitch, and Yodel I'm sure will try and get their Engineers to fix asap.

To be fair Simple Delivery is not mandatory on all item categories listed by private sellers!
Also, rather than 'I would think' and 'hopefully' I decided to post this information in regards to Yodel. In doing so I considered that even if it informed just 'one single' seller then the few seconds it took for me to write it was definitely not wasted. Indeed, I am positive others would feel the same having read it. After all how many of us have ever uttered the phrases 'I wish you had told me' and/or 'please can you tell me next time'. I rest my case your honour 😎
