Wrong Item received. The seller doesn't want to refund

Hi,

I purchased a Bower block Elite EXP Stage 3 add on kit, but the item I received is a Powerbock Sports EXP Stage 3, which is not compatible with my dumbbells.

I have contacted the seller multiple times and provided proof that the wrong item was sent. I also opened a return request, but the seller cancelled it and refuses to issue a refund.

The product description clearly states Powerbock Elite EXP Stage 3, but what I received does not match the listing. I have made several attempts to resolve this directly with the seller without success.

I am requesting assistance to get a proper resolution.

Sellers can't cancel properly opened, in time claims for items using the ebay money back guarantee. 

It sounds like you might have left it too late,  you had 30 days from delivery.

To answer your question properly we would need to know when you received this item, and the reason you gave for returning it.

The fact that the seller was able to close the case suggests that you made an ordinary return request, instead of opening an "item not as described"case under eBay's money back guarantee.

You also haven't told us what your seller's return policy was? This will be stated in the listing. If the seller accepts returns but refused to honour their policy you can contact eBay, who should still be able to change a return request to a money back guarantee case. Otherwise, once a case is closed that's the end of it.

Or you may have left it too late to claim. With so little information, it's hard to help.
