Warranty issue

On the 4th of September 2025 I bought a airfed welding mask, I used it for about 16 days until it started having problems. I messaged them asking about the warranty and how to claim it, they said I needed to go  maker of the kit and I can easily get a refund. I emailed them and they said I need to get the warranty of the person I bought it off on eBay.

After this, they started ignoring me for a month or 2. Then on the 12 of November they replied stating that they been away on business and the last few weeks ill and no one has been catching up to the message. He started saying we can get the return sorted asap and straight after, back to ignoring me.

I don’t know what to do, is there anything I can do

Given that ebay has the money back guarantee that covers the first 30 days after delivery it looks like you should have used that rather than try and use the warranty.  After such a short time it's normal statutory protection that you needed to use.

Now your only option is to try your funding source.

What does funding source mean??

also you should still be able to get your money back if the seller isn’t staying to what they said about warranty and ignoring the customer. Wish eBay could get involved. They are clearly lying about it and have no intention on giving me it

It's too late to do anything through ebay.  You have to start a return within 30 days of receipt.

The seller is not being helpful and seems to be messing you about.

So, how did you pay?

If you used a debit or credit card. you can ask the bank or the credit card company to do a chargeback against the seller on the grounds that you bought an item online which is not fit for purpose.

The bank/credit card company is your 'payment provider'.  You need to ask them for help.
