Just bought a couple of batteries and Ebay contacted me telling me to return them due to a safety issue and a violation of their policies. The vendor has refused to accept them as they have been used. where do I stand? I can't even contact Ebay as the site just gives me the runaround

When did you receive the batteries?
You have 30 days to open a return case through Ebay.
If you are within 30 days of receipt, open a return case and use the reason that the batteries are not as described. In the notes, you can add that you have been informed they are unsafe.
