Hope someone can help...
I have a buyer in Norway who as purchased something from me, but has requested the VOEC number be put on the shipping label. There is a "REF" on the label, but I'm not sure if that's it (doesn't look like what I found on Google images). I have sent a screenshot to the buyer, but thought I would post here as well, just in case.
The bot/auto assistance is absolutely useless - I detest them and refuse to use them if I can possibly avoid it.
Thanks in advance!

Ebay's VOEC number is 2024926. You can write "VOEC no 2024926. Code: Paid" on the parcel as well as providing the details when you buy the label so that it is electronically encoded too.

Hi rainbowtrax
Many thanks for your reply. The address on the label is for a GSP, (Global Shipping programme), and there is also a Ref number, which the buyer says could be a Norwegian tracking number. So presumably eBay will handle the rest. Nevertheless, I'll write the VOEC code on the label as well, just to be sure.

The reference number is for Ebay to identify the sale and the buyer for onward shipping. Make sure you add it to the parcel.
As you are only sending the item within the UK, you don't need to add the VOEC number. This will be done by Pitney Bowes before they forward your parcel to Norway with a new label and customs details etc.

Thanks, all - first time for everything! All in hand now, I think.
