Having been a member of eBay for over twenty years and earned 100% feedback, sending my items via Royal Mail with no problems, I have now had to use evri instead under the Simple Delivery programme. Result - item completely damaged during transit and beyond repair.
The buyer has complained and sent me distressing photographic evidence. I have, of course, issued a full refund.
My question is - how do I claim for damage in transit under the Simple Delivery parcel insurance scheme?
1. The ebay chatbot has sent me round in endless irrelevant loops
2. The request for a call back resulted in a welcome and questions (?) in German which I don't understand.
3. ebay have sent a message berating me for hanging up on the German voice message.
A distressful situation just got worse! Please suggest something I might do to sort this out.
