Unsecured location

Why are eBay not demanding the seller to give the parcel delivery information to the buyer so they can raise a case against the courier. When they clear have information that show it was let in unsecured location

Ebay don't get involved in postal disputes like that so won't help you,and sellers have no control over what happens once they have paid for postal services.

It's very common for deliveries to be left in unsafe places, even when safe places have been stated.

If your the buyer having delivery issues then contact your payment provider for help,so your card issuer if you paid that way

eBay does much better than that for buyers. If an item doesn't arrive, arrives damaged or even arrives late, eBay's money back guarantee entitles the buyer to claim a full refund from the seller, with the seller even having to pay for the postage when an item has to be returned.

It's the seller who then has the hassle of trying to claim compensation from the courier - if they can!

Leaving an item in an insecure place is another matter. If the tracking record states that the item was delivered, as far as eBay is concerned it was delivered. The buyer can't "raise a case" against the courier because it's the seller, not the buyer who has the contract with the courier. Theoretically the buyer could sue the seller, if the seller is a business seller, but the law and the burden of proof required are so complex that this almost never happens. It would be far too costly and uncertan for the value of most items sold on eBay.

If you have not read the money back guarantee you can learn about it here: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
