Tried to purchase a mobile phone from 100% seller. My bank shows £282 debit on my c card BUT not appearing in the purchase history and seller says the payment must have bounced???

Did you by chance order the item as a guest, which means it wouldn't show on your purchase history or the sellers per se.

Were you logged when buying, you may have bought as a guest.

If so,you would have received confirmation email.

As said if bought as a guest, you would only receive a confirmation emai, and if you message tge seller he would not know who you were as purchase would show in hus sales with an ebay invented ID.

However the transaction should continue in the usual way, and if no item received, you should open a not received case through the confirmation email.

I wasn't aware of buying as a guest, although that may explain why the usual payment option of "credit card" was not filled in, however Google pay was - so I bought with Google pay. I immediately received 2 text confirmations from my bank that a purchase of £282 had been made. However - nothing in the purchase history and, on contacting the 100% seller, they said no purchase had been made and the payment had probably bounced. ???
