I’m really hoping someone here can offer advice because I’m completely stuck in an endless loop with eBay, and I urgently need access to my funds.
I sold an item on my Sosa2023 account, but eBay has placed a restriction on it due to a supposed link with another account, Paracoac-0. I was told that to lift the restriction on Sosa2023, I needed to resolve the issues with Paracoac-0—which I did by submitting my ID, proof of address, and other requested documents.
However, now I’m being told something completely different—that my Sosa2023 account is still restricted until issues with a third account (which I didn’t even know was connected) are resolved. I’ve contacted eBay multiple times, but every agent tells me something different.
My Main Issues:
- Contradictory Instructions – eBay told me that resolving one account would free the other, but now they’ve moved the goalpost.
- Funds Still on Hold – It’s been over a week, and I urgently need my money.
- No Clear Answers – Every time I contact eBay, I get a different response.
- Stuck in a Loop – I resolve one issue, then I’m told something else needs fixing.
Has Anyone Else Experienced This? What Should I Do?
I’m beyond frustrated at this point. I’ve asked for a proper escalation but haven’t received any real help.
Should I be looking into consumer rights action? Filing a complaint with an ombudsman or trading standards?
I just need a real solution, not another "wait for an email in 3 days" response.
