Standard tracked delivery

When i list an item and it just says standard tracked delivery, why does it not state who is delivering it even when opted out of using evri. Just want to use royal mail only and ebay doesn't seem to like that. won't list til they sort this out. struggling to buy for same reason. anyone feel same?

You could add onto your listings that they will be posted using Royal Mail.

I don't know why Ebay doesn't specify the carrier when sellers use Simple Delivery but, for you as you have opted out of using Evri and will only send using Royal Mail, you could let your buyers know by adding 'Will be sent using Royal Mail' at the start of the item description.

Standard tracked delivery

When i preview before listing shows as royal mail, then when listed it changes, price lowers and just states standard delivery. Not altogether confident to state to any buyer that would be sending royal mail when i don't know myself. Wondering if it any better if i pay postage?? Puts me off from buying too when no transparency on delivery.

I am not a fan of Simple Delivery but assume it is here to stay and sellers have to adapt.  (Or stop selling on Ebay.)

As long as you have opted out of using Evri, you will always be supplied with a Royal Mail label when using Simple Delivery.

Available carriers and delivery options

You'll automatically be opted in to use all carriers that are available in this programme. If you would prefer not to send your items with a particular carrier, you can exclude them in your settings. Here's how:

  1. Go to your Postage preferences - opens in new window or tab.
  2. Select Edit next to Simple Delivery.
  3. Adjust the toggle next to the carrier you'd prefer not to use.
