Sold 4 graphics cards worth of £2200 sadly been charged £231 advertisement fee on top of my wooping %12 final fees. I spoken with eBay explain myself they said they will cancel this for this time. (as i accidently press promote and close promote advertisement just aftrer open it).
Seller contact me for return and i accepted also going to refund the seller, however even though there is a dispute ebay still gone and charge me that £231 advertisement fee.
What to do ?

Were you adding any reserves or promoting yours items? Reserves are charged sale or no sale and are expensive at 4% of your set reserve. There is also a listing fee for the Classified ad for your bike, this is charged the second the item goes live and payable sale or no sale.
This will show you the breakdown of your transactions and any fees paid.

eBay rarely get their fees wrong but if you did think there's been a mistake contact eBay Customer Services they can explain any fee charged and refund any over charged fee.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Do you have a transcript showing they promised to credit those fees?
If you do ask them to honour the agreement, if not, try asking again.
If that doesn't work, the fees are due.

yes i have been honoured the payment as the representitive said he will ask to the fee to be removed for this once. I also said that i might speak with my company solicitor as this doesn't feel right. I consider my self a very honest seller and no problem with ebay, but this last thing was a little bit harsh.

i have spoken with a presentitive about this, i have 4 graphic cards to sell at the price of £750 each, i accidently press promote, and a day pass i realise its promoted and i stop promotion. Then 3 days later (after canceling the advert) i drop the price to £580. OBVIOUSLY they all sold in an hour. While i was checking the fees, i see final fee, insertation fee all good but then advertisement fee £231 , which is £57 each for advertising accidently and also stopping advertisement.
I told ebay the reason i sold the cards is not advertising , i simply drop the price as i needed cash flow. Ebay said that may be someone saved my item to buy while the advert was on. Therefor they agree with me to not charge this. So i dont see why they charge it even before i got paid by eBay ! i am not running away what is the rush 😄

When you list an item, make sure you check where it says "Fees to list item"
Once it shows fees & you tick to list, you are liable for fees.
Ebay may have refunded this time, but won't keep doing it.

i have looked the fees before i list, there was not any advertisement charge, i guess may be you read it wrong. I add the advertisement after and then deleted it, after deleting the advert i sold the item, but they still wanted charge me for advertisement fee. I am getting ask for a fee i didnt use.

I am getting ask for a fee i didnt use.
You did use it. Once you promote a listing or use optional paid-for listing features these are payable irrespective of whether the item sells, or you withdraw it item from sale.
You have already contacted customer support to explain that you promoted these listings by mistake, and say that they agreed to waive the fee on this occasion. If so, good luck and well done - but it will be pointless to stir things up again by talking about your solicitor.

i didnt use it , it says on the advertisement that seller only pays if the item is sold. Not the other way around. i am talking with them at the moment. Also now that the sale is off and i am refunding the buyer i cant afford to pay £231 for something i didnt even sell.

Also usually ebay charges the final fees or any other fees before they send me the money to my bank account but somehow before the money been send to my bank account i have been charged. This is upsetting my cash flow now regardsless of if i am right or wrong. Ebay always takes the money after a sale before they send me my share. in this situation ebay took money from my other earnings like a mafia.
