Simple postage didn't work and I had to pay for postage

Hi,

Buyer bought two seperate items, both with 'buyer pays postage' and 'simple postage'.  When i got to post office the item was larger than what simple postage had estimated so I (seller) paid for postage.  how do I get the money back?

The buyer pays for the postage when Simple Delivery is used,  and if the labels aren't used,  the buyer gets refunded , but it can take 30 days,  worth sending the buyer a message to explain this.

Using your own postage is fine, but you will not be able to add tracking,  so will have no proof of delivery, and the payout will be held for 14 days.
