Hi, i bought an item, ive paid for it and the seller forgot to mention in the description that he is out of town and cant ship it until 2 weeks.
The postage originally said the item will be shipped within 2 days of purchase.
so now i have 2 options
1. the seller has agreed to cancel the order if i say so
2. i can wait for 2 weeks for him to get back and ship it
so my question is, will i be able to appeal or get my money back by involving ebay if the seller turns out to be a scam and doesn't ship after 2 weeks? Or will my appeal be weak cause i did not raise an issue the first 2 weeks after purchase.
thankyou

You have 30 days from the estimated or actual delivery date in which to start a "not received" case or "not as described" return.

So does that mean it is safe to wait, even after 2 weeks i can appeal (incase the item is not shipped) and ill be able to get my money back?
sorry im new to ebay

Yes, as long as you keep the 30 day deadline in mind it's safe to wait 2 weeks. You can read ebay's policy here:
