Second chance offer

Hi

my winning bidder has cancelled transaction and I want to offer to the second highest bidder. I have followed the instructions of how to do it but can’t see the option. Does it take a certain amount of time for the cancellation to go through before it gives me the option?

You need to finalise the non payment case first. After 4 days pass cancel the order citing buyer has not paid.

Then you can send a second chance offer here:

1. Find your listing in either My eBay Selling Activity or Seller Hub.

2. Select Second Chance Offer from More actions, and then Continue.

3. Select the quantity of items you have to sell, the duration of the offer, and the bidders you want to send offers to. Then select Continue.

eBay will send the bidders you selected an email, and it's their choice whether to accept the offer. Your offer expires if the bidder doesn't respond within the duration you chose.

Be aware not all members wish to be notified and may have this option blocked in their preferences.
