Scam buyer

Im selling a vehicle and a buyer with zero feedback has 'bought' the vehicle but no payment has been made, no contact made, no reply to message I've sent them. They are hundreds of miles away from me, I believe this is a scam. How do I cancel this transaction and get it back to the listing ive paid for without fees?

Once deal /sale is cancelled as Unpaid, any FVF's charged will be refunded --- Classified at one off listing fee is best with contact allowed for viewing and No final FVF is recommended.

Scam buyer

Cancel due to non-payment after 4 complete days via the dropdown menu for the item on your sold list.

And put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

Thank you

Does that mean I lose 4 days of my vehicle not being advertised for sale though?

I had a legitimate prospective buyer who I was communicating with and now I fear i might lose a real sale?

Sold or unsold, listing fees are not refunded and if a sale/s is not cancelled as Unpaid within 30 days you will still have FVFs to pay.     Buyers are allowed 4 complete days to pay before you can start the Unpaid process >

Should you relist the Vehicle, consider >

Classified Ads. at total fee of £19. 99 allows the exchange of contact details for viewing and price negotiation over a 30 day period --- set the Start price at or near the price that you would find acceptable --- Avoid inviting Offers which halts the listing and the deal may never be completed --- just continue to Negotiate an acceptable selling price and only remove the Ad. when you have a definite buyer with Cash in hand or a  Bank Transfer is safely deposited/confirmed before handing over Vehicle keys/documents on buyer viewing /collection. No additional FVF selling fee is charged. --- Do not accept PayPal payment.

You can always contact the other buyer and ask them to wait a few days.

Yes, you will get your FVF fee back, but you must use the correct procedure.

The procedure to follow when a buyer hasn't paid after four days is set out in eBay's unpaid item policy: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/member-behaviour-policies/order-cancellation-policy?id=5298

This will immediately cancel the sale. Provided you give the reason that they buyer didn't pay your final value fee will be cancelled or credited back to you. Neither party can leave feedback; any already left can be removed. The buyer will receive an unpaid item strike for not paying, which will stay on their account for a year. Two strikes mean that most sellers will automatically block them from bidding.

To add non-payers to your blocked bidders list and prevent them from sending you messages, see: https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
