Says I haven't sent yet, and has provided me with different tracking number

I buyer has brought two items from me, and requested them to be sent same parcel. I go to post office next day with address ebay has provided me with and pay for the most expensive service so it could get to them next day. I then go to add tracking number on Ebay, and it telling me I got to use another service using a different tracking number. I then look up the address I sent to, and it turns out to be a delivery office. So i ring them up, and they explain to me everything will still get to its destination but I got no way of tracking it since it has arrived at the destination ebay provided me with. I tried, and spent many hours trying to sort this out, and my buyer hasn't replied since. I feel like I'm going to get scammed, and I'm lost as what yo do?

You still need to generate the original prepaid label to mark the item as dispatched and add tracking.  So do that then see if you can add the new tracking number via the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That needs to be done on a desktop browser.

 

After that you can cancel the original label here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

 

Even if you can't do the above the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.
