Sale to French Polynesia

I have sold to a buyer in French Polynesia but the postage costs are infinitively high and now I want to cancel the sale.

What will I lose if I cancel sale?

Buyer is not responding to my request for more postage money.

What rights do I have as seller.

I was not aware when I ticked international sale that it would be a flat rate to any part of the world.

Please advise what I lose if I cancel and refund.

Sale to French Polynesia

Click on the item in Orders  >> Awaiting Postage click top left on Order details then from far right More Actions >>  Cancel Order.

Select the reason Problem with Buyer's Address.  Then your seller performance is not affected.

I would block this buyer too in case he tries to return and buy from you again.

Sale to French Polynesia

As you've discovered, it's vital to get your international prices correct.

eBay don't allow sellers to ask for more postage than what they've set up on their listing so, whilst nobody can force you to go ahead with the sale and you can cancel, the buyer is in a position to leave negative feedback.
